Something special is happening this May 7 – St. George and Washington County will be hosting the Ironman World Championships (full-distance)! This is the first time this event has EVER been held any place other than Kona, Hawaii.

 

This huge event will bring athletes from around the world to St. George. An event this large (second only to Utah hosting the Olympics) requires many volunteers over a 5 day period. Please read the descriptions of all the volunteer positions and consider signing up as a volunteer. One area you might consider…Bike Techs…a volunteer position always led by SUBA…requires volunteers with very basic mechanical skills to help riders with minor mechanical issues along the course (mainly flat tires).

 

This will be a major event for St George and will require all the help and support we can provide.
